I had an amazing idea!

Or probably I heard about someone who had a great idea, then I kind of forgot it and when I dreamt over it I self-convinced myself that it was an amazing idea and it was entirely mine!

What am I talking about? To make it very short and easy - and definitely much clearer than I could explain in words - just give a look here.
Brandon Stanton went around in NewYork City for quite a while, taking snapshot/portraits of people around him, living their lives, and then asking them few question just to tell a more complete story behind those shots. Finally he put everything up on his website and printed 400 of those story on his best-seller book Humans of New York.

Obviously I couldn't have done it with New York, or any other big city in the States - without moving there - but I had a kind of similar idea set up in the "old continent".
Was is a genuine idea? ehm, difficult to say, Brandon's book has been the top NewYotkTimes best-seller and for quite awhile the second on Amazon, so I really think I heard something about his story over Xmas or so, and now, after few weeks, I probably just dreamt about it and woken-up with the "amazing idea"!

Well done Brandon Stanton! Let's see if I'll have the time, energy and devotion to shot and put together such an interesting book!

Did you already have the chance to go through those pages? But mainly, did you ever wake up having a great idea and only later realize that it wasn't really your idea?
