Instead of a quick trip to Bonn...

... a friend came by for the weekend.
This 2014 has started in a pretty good way -traveling wise- and looking at my agenda it actually looks even better for the months to come! Anyway, what was supposed to be a quick city trip to Bonn, turned out in a visit here. I can't really complain! God company, very good food and, good photos!

Yes, because once again, having a visitor over, we had the occasion to walk around a bit without the rush of any other working day. As you might already know, the city is not so big, so we ended up walking more or less the same steps as any other day, but as any other day I saw few things under a different prospective.
Here is one example

Playing a bit with my zoom lens, I also got this nice detail: it was always there, and I've seen it so many times, but the lght and the B&W editing over the clouds made it look pretty good to me

The weather has been pretty fine for two days out of three, and at the twilight I also managed to catch few nice color contrast with the sky

What do you think? Maybe nothing shocking, but somehow I like the way the same place can look a bit differently each single day.
