Spring is here!

Lately I've been pretty busy and not really able to write posts. I've actually been writing quite a lot for my habits, but it was definitely more technical and not recreational stuff... anyway, here I am with a little update.

Last weekend I've been almost completely locked inside, despite of the great sunny days! I said almost completely because, out of the whole weekend, I step out for a couple of hours for a short walk: it was really nice, the sun was shining and several flowers were blossoming. So not a long trip, but enough for framing a couple of pictures.

Together with the flowers, also bees seemed to wake-up after the "cold" months

I'm really bad at remembering trees and flowers names, but as far as I can recall these ones are the typical sign that winter's over
And what's more spring than daisies?! Yes, at least I know their name!
I kind of like the way blossoming trees contrast against the clear skies of these days

It doesn't matter if you're in the city center or in the country side, there will always be a little sign remembering you that This is Luxembourg!

The good thing of clear sunny days with clear sky is that, usually, the sky is clear also at night. Here two examples of my experiments with the moon and the starts.

And that's it for the moment, I'm still keeping up with the 1-shot-a-day for a month photoproject, but somehow I'm really feeling like I need to upgrade a bit my lenses: the comera itself is more than fine, I don't need extremely high-performances and the overall delivered quality is ok, but while taking pictures of flowers I really needed a real macro lens. I also felt like my 55-200mm is delivering poor-quality when completely zoomed out, and mainly it needs a loot of light in order to make sharp and crispy picture... let's see and meditate.
Btw, some more traveling weekend are approaching, so stay tune for pictures on the way.
