Moon in the backyard

Yesterday I've been carrying around my camera for...... nothing. Exactly nothing.
In the morning everything was frosty and the sky looked like it was going to be a very nice day.
Unfortunately as soon as the sun came up, the sky got heavily overcast with just a monochromatic grey light passing through the clouds.

Then, when I was just getting ready to relax on the couch after dinner I saw a smiling moon sneaking out of the clouds: the time by I got my gear ready and the clouds were already covering everything once again...
It was also quite windy up in the sky, and I could really see the clouds moving fast: I tried different exposures while the moon kept on playing hide and seek for almost an hour, but in the end I got these two shots

I must say that I'm not completely satisfied of the final result, but it was still a rising moon, so I should have still few more nights for trying before it will tun out into a full moon.

What do you think about? Pretty decent start, isn't it?
